Posted 25 May 2012 by Angela JenningsMay 25, 2012
Oracle have teamed up with independent security testing company Pentest for a half day session aimed at showing attendees the mechanisms behind some of the recent, highly publicised security breaches that have affected some of the highest profile businesses in the UK and abroad.
The structure of the session is based around two interactive demonstrations which show some of the simple, and not so simple techniques that hack and compromise internal and external networks, leading to the loss of confidential corporate and personal information, and corresponding impact on brand and public image for the businesses affected.
We then talk about technologies that can be used to increase the security of your environment and reduce the risk of data breach.
This session is aimed at IT professionals and those with an interest in maintaining the security of their corporate data, such as Audit, Risk, Compliance and owners of critical corporate data.
